The keys to a lasting relationship are:
Trust: If you can't trust the person who you are with then the relationship is basically over. I'd rather not be with someone I can not trust then stay with them and always wonder what they are doing or who they are with.

Affection: This is very important to me. I want someone who loves to be held, touched, kissed, and who will do the same.

COMMUNICATION: this should be at the top of my list but I don't feel like rearranging it lol. This is a must. If there is something on your mind I want you to be comfortable telling me. I don't want to guess at what you are thinking. There is nothing that bothers me more then a woman who can't talk to her man about anything. When you are in a relationship and there is love there, that person should be your best friend. Anything you can go tell your female best friends you should feel comfortable telling your man. If there is no communication in a relationship it will fall apart plain and simple. People take this for granted. If I have something on my mind you can be sure I would tell my significant other Regardless if its good or bad. I would expect the same in return. Don't want to guess whats on your mind. Even if its something that will hurt their feelings. A person with common sense can tell if the person they are with has something bothering them. Their whole persona changes and they will send out different vibes. Personally it would bother me more to know something is up but not know what it is then for someone to just come out and tell me.

Physical appearance is not as important then whats in your heart and your personality. However there has to be some physical attraction there. I'm turning 28 in October and being this close to 30 used to feel so scary, but now I'm at peace with the man I have become. I am 21 years old. I want to be a teacher and I'm working on finding a way to fulfill that dream. I am taking a break from school right now but I definitely plan on returning.

In real life, I am unbearably shy, but it seems to be getting a little better as I get older and meet more people that are out of my comfort zone.. I'm still pretty damn shy, though.

I love music -- my favorite is classic rock. I'm generally into 70s, and 80s rock and pop, but I like at least SOMETHING from most genres. My favorite band is Pink Floyd.

I like going to school, in general, and my favorite subjects are English and history. My least favorites are math and science. I am terrible at math. :(

I love animals and have a cat, Lucifer Sam, and two dogs (both Pembroke Welsh Corgis -- best dog breed ever!), Mindy and Milo. I love my babies more than I can describe. My cat is six years old, Mindy is three years old and Milo is almost a year.

I love kids and I have an eight year old brother who I am very close to.

I like ancient Egyptian and Greek mythology and religion. Really really fun interesting stuff. I get way too into it.

I like reading weird articles (I spend a lot of time on Fark.com), learning about the crazy, weird, paranormal, medical mysteries, strange scientific breakthroughs, whatever. I also love to shop, be it on eBay or in the mall. I think I have a spending habit, oh well. I have way too many body products.. lotions, body sprays, and soaps. They make me happy.

I like games of all sorts. I love video games, MMORPGs, board games and card games. I am not a club/bar/night out on the town person though I don't mind going so much anymore, as long as people don't pressure me to dance or drink when I don't want to! I would much rather sit at home and play video games or go see a movie in theatres. I like to think as far as entertainment goes I am rather low maintenance.
